Honeywell's current display solution for classic furniture requires yet
another bezel change, and replaces the integrated bezel-mounted display with
an externally-mounted LCD display. If you aren't happy with the new
bolted-on look, or just aren't looking forward to another 2-hour bezel
replacement, we offer the FP-3018 as a high-quality, 15-minute replacement
solution. You already have the flat Honeywell bezel and touch screen
in place. Just hang our replacement display in the existing bezel with
a screw in each corner, mount our replacement control panel, connect power
and video and you're up and running.

This new LCD flat-panel display was designed as a direct
replacement for the flat Sony CRT or Honeywell LCD used in classic Honeywell Universal
Stations.
Since the Sony CRT already used a flat bezel and touch screen, this is a
display-only replacement. Mount the display in the existing bezel, connect
the power and video cables, and your station is back in service.
A bezel-mounted replacement ...
The FP-3018 is attached to the (4) mounting bosses of the upper or
lower-tier bezel used with the flat Sony SPD-4401 (Honeywell p/n
51197096-100). The old Sony CRT is removed from the station, and the
slide rails are no longer used.
A bright, durable display ...
The delicate LCD plastic surface is protected by a glass anti-glare
panel attached to the front of the display. This durable surface protects the LCD
from the wear scratches that any plastic surface eventually suffers after repeated
cleaning (or touching with dirty fingers, pencils, or sharp objects). The
anti-glare treatment of the glass combined with the inherent low-glare characteristics of
a flat display results in an excellent high-contrast display.
Low maintenance, long life ...
The solid-state design of the flat-panel TFT LCD display provides
inherent reliability, low power consumption, and low maintenance.
Aside from
periodic cleaning of the anti-glare glass, the FP-3018 requires no regular periodic
maintenance. Technicians have access to a full range of digital display adjustments
during setup. This adjustment can be frozen to prevent subsequent
adjustment by unplugging the adjustment cable from the display after
setup.
